Here is a collection for all you future Gamer Dolls. Here we have compiled a list of the must haves for the ultimate female game collection. Enjoy!
10.) Disney Universe
In order to kick-start this list we wanted to start with one of the most lighthearted, and genuinely fun games. If you're a fan of anything Disney then this is the game for you. Throughout this co-operative adventure you and your closest friends can take on multiple levels of your favorite Disney worlds; ranging from Simba's Pridelands to the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland. This game is perfect for a party because it can bring out the competitive nature in anyone. If easy going, fun-filled games are your thing, make sure you add this game to your collection.
Available: PS3, Xbox 360, Wii
9.) Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
If you are a girl who is into cars, then this is a game for you. Though most Need for Speed games are able to quench your thirst for horsepower, this one in particular serves as one hell of a good time. This game has several different game modes to spice up your driving life. For one, you are able to ogle at beautiful cars, and have the rare chance to be behind the wheel of one...well sort of. If chasing down the bad guys is more your thing, then there's a challenge for that. If you would much rather be the one outrunning the cops go for any of the time challenges. But no matter how you play it is sure a great way to unwind and while burning some virtual rubber. Plus, you can slowly start to learn more about cars for the man in your life, which is a win-win situation if you ask me.
Available: PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC
8.) Heavy Rain
If you have never heard of this game, then you are probably not alone. I was only brought onto this game last year, and boy was I missing out. Throughout this psychological thriller, you follow the mystery of a missing boy who has been kidnapped by the origami killer, just as the September rains are about to hit. You are able to explore as four different playable characters who all get intertwined into this mystery, one way or another. Every decision you make throughout the game has an impact on the ending- so chose wisely! But if your looking for a good mystery game to get your heart pumping and your brain working go out and buy Heavy Rain and see what you've been missing out on.
Available: PS3
7.) Final Fantasy XIII-2
If you are a fan of the Final Fantasy series, you should have already played this game, but for those of you who haven't here's my plea to you to get your hands on it. This is the sequel to Final Fantasy XIII, where you follow a group of outcasts on a mission to save the heroine's sister from a crystal slumber. In this sequel you play as the sister, Serah, who -spoiler alert - has been saved from an eternal life preserved in crystal. But this time it's Serah's turn to save her heroic sister Lightning and by doing so save their home of Cocoon -end spoiler-. Alongside you have a new character Noel, who was sent by Lightning to guide Serah on her quest, and Mog a loveable moogle with mysterious origins. This game has tons of DLC for you to enjoy after you have finished the main story-line so there is almost no reason to stop playing it, unless its to play the next game on this list.
Available: PS3, Xbox 360
6.) Kingdom Hearts
Here's another title for people who need their Disney and Final Fantasy fix, Kingdom Hearts. Now, we are only talking about the Kingdom Hearts that has come out for the console system, back on the PS2, but this is a must have for all you Gamer Dolls. If you have been hiding under a rock for the past several years and have never heard of this game, do not fret, because I have everything you need to know to make you want to run out of your house and buy these games immediately. Kingdom Hearts follows a young man named Sora who sets out into several Disney worlds to find his friends Riku and Kairi who have been separated after enemies, known as Heartless, invade their home island. Along the way he is accompanied by Donald Duck and Goofy who were sent by King Mickey to escort the wielder of the Keyblade on his journey. There are only 2 games that have come out for console systems, but it was just recently announced that Square Enix is already working on their third console installment, which should keep fans of this game on their toes until its release. But until then, Kingdom Hearts I and II should make their way into your ultimate Gamer Dolls collection.
Available: PlayStation 2
5.) Atelier Meruru
Here's a JRPG that almost every Gamer Doll should try. Yes, the name is almost impossible to pronounce but this game just recently received my attention and I am glad it did. Its the thirteenth installment of the Atelier series. You follow a young alchemist who also happens to be a Princess in a small kingdom known as Arls. After convincing her father to let her prove herself as an alchemist you set out to develop your kingdom under a time constraint. There are many different endings and so much to do in this game which is why it made it to the top 5. It leaves the player with many different options to pursue while trying to develop their Kingdom. The characters also have unique and refreshing personalities which keeps the game fun and light when you start to notice your time dwindling. So if you have never given this type of game a chance, its time to go and embarrass yourself at GameStop as you butcher the name of this fun and female-friendly game.
Available: PS3
4.) Batman Arkham City
If you are a superhero fanatic then this is definitely a game for you. The follow up to Arkham Asylum, Arkham City is an open world of ass-kicking. You play as Bruce Wayne, who, after publicly disapproving of Arkham City, is arrested and thrown into the chaos with a plethora of his arch-enemies. After this it is up to you to stop Hugo Strange from going through with "Protocol 10". So why is this game on our top 10 list for female gamers? Well because not only do you get to play as Batman, you can also play as Selina Kyle aka Catwoman. This game has endless missions to keep even the best gamers busy for days, and that is why it landed in at number 4.
Available: PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U
3.) Zelda: Skyward Sword
The Legend of Zelda is arguably the best game series of all time, but that's not what we are here to discuss. We are just here to bask in the total awesomeness that is Zelda. Skyward Sword, one of the most recent installments, is a must have for every Gamer Dolls collection. This Zelda provided an entirely new feel to players and that's why it is third on our top games list. With a new story-line this Zelda is easily one of the most fun in the series. The game all in all is just visually pleasing and has many new features not seen in any other Zelda games. But what makes it a must have in this collection is just the pure enjoyment one gets from playing this Zelda. The story-line is cute and follows a different rhythm that we haven't seen in many other Legend of Zelda installments and because of this reason it made it in at number 3.
Available: Wii
2.) Skyrim
No matter what kind of game you are used to playing, Skyrim is a must have in any gamers collection and that is why it comes in as our runner up for best games for female gamers. So I will try to refrain from arrow to the knee jokes as much as I can - but I am not guaranteeing anything. If you have yet to be introduced to this mega-game then let me introduce you. This game leaves you with pretty much an entire world to explore and conquer. You have endless opportunities while playing Skyrim, whether you chose to become the leader of the Thieves Guilde or you prefer to take out targets as an assassin with the Dark Brotherhood, how you spend your days is totally and utterly up to you. Because of this complete freedom and endless opportunities Skyrim comes in just under our number one spot.
Available: PS3, Xbox 360, PC
1.) Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy X is the ultimate female game. It has action, it has romance, it has betrayal, and marriage and the list goes on and on. But most of all Final Fantasy X is just an all around great game. You follow a young Blitzball star who, after coming in contact with Sin, is seemingly transported to a different world. There he falls in love with a young Summoner, Yuna, who is on a mission to save Spira from a grim fate. He is then sworn to protect her and joins her party of guardians as she sets out on her journey to vanquish Sin. The story is one of the reasons why Final Fantasy X was able to snag our top spot, but that is not the only compelling reason to play this game. There are also many mini-games and extra tid-bits that keep this game interesting after every play. If you need more convincing and you haven't played the game go out and add this to your ultimate game collection, you will not regret it.
